By accessing or using verseandvertex.com (the “Site”), or by placing an order through our Etsy shop linked from the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or place an order.
About Us
Verse & Vertex (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a small studio that designs and makes keepsakes, decorative objects, ornaments, display pieces, and gifts. Our pieces are sold through our Etsy shop at etsy.com/shop/verseandvertex. The Site itself does not process transactions.
Orders & Fulfilment
All purchases of physical goods are completed through Etsy and are governed by both these Terms and Etsy's own policies and Buyer Terms. When you place an order with us on Etsy, you also enter into a transaction with Etsy as the platform host.
- Product photographs are representative; small variations between batches are part of how each piece is made.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including for suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock issues. If we cancel an order you've already paid for, you'll receive a full refund.
- Custom and personalised pieces may be subject to additional terms communicated at the time of order.
Shipping & Delivery
Shipping is fulfilled through Etsy. Delivery estimates, shipping options, and tracking are provided on the Etsy order page. Once a package is handed to the carrier, delivery timeframes are outside our control. We are not responsible for carrier delays, customs holds, or delivery to incorrect addresses provided at checkout.
Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
Returns, exchanges, and refunds for items purchased through our Etsy shop are governed by the return policy listed on each Etsy product page and by Etsy's Purchase Protection program. If your order arrives damaged or is materially different from what was described, contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@verseandvertex.com or through Etsy messaging, and we'll make it right.
- Personalised, custom, or made-to-order pieces are generally non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or defective.
- Refunds, when issued, are returned to the original payment method via Etsy and may take several business days to appear.
Intellectual Property
All content on this Site — including the Verse & Vertex name, logo, wordmark, product designs, photographs, copy, and visual identity — is owned by Verse & Vertex or used under licence and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, redistribute, scrape, train AI models on, or commercially exploit any content from this Site without our prior written permission. You may link to the Site or to individual Etsy listings for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to access, probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site or any related infrastructure.
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to harvest content or data, except for legitimate search-engine indexing.
- Impersonate Verse & Vertex, our employees, or any other person.
Newsletter, Coupons & Promotions
If you sign up for our newsletter, you may receive a one-time discount code for use on our Etsy shop, plus occasional updates about new pieces and promotions. Discount codes are subject to terms communicated at the time of issue, may have expiry dates, cannot be combined unless stated, and may be revoked in cases of misuse. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Disclaimers
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Verse & Vertex disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall Verse & Vertex, its founders, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or any product purchased through our Etsy shop. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
